Doosan Announces Puma 700XL Series

Doosan is excited to announce an addition to its family of large turning centers with the introduction of the Puma 700XL series of turning centers. The Puma 700XL, XLM and XLY lathes are designed for heavy and interrupted cutting on parts requiring turning length of up to 200 inches. High speed turret indexing and fast rapid traverse rates minimize non-cutting time. Classic manufacturing methods and ultra rigid construction are combined with advanced technological features to provide exceptional value. The turning center features a powerful 60 Hp spindle motor providing 4,873 foot lbs of torque. Other features include a slant bed, box way construction with a large 35.4” turning diameter, 6.5” bar capacity and up to 10,780 pounds of Z axis thrust.
